Just found a GREAT newsletter for individual's with Alzheimer's or related disorders. It's published by the UCSD Shiley-Marcus Alzheimer's Research Center. Here's how to get it. It's free if you want to receive it by email.

Lisa Snyder is the author of "Living Your Best with Early-Stage Alzheimer's."

"Lisa Snyder is a clinical social worker and Director of the Quality of Life programs at the University of California, San Diego's Shiley-Marcos Alzheimer's Disease Research Center, where she has worked with people with Alzheimer's and their families for more than 20 years.  Her many years of expertise in facilitating support groups and other programs for people with early-stage Alzheimer's gives her intimate knowledge of the concerns, experiences, and coping strategies of people living wth the diagnosis.  She is author of the book "Speaking our Minds--What It's Like to Have Alzheimer's" and editor of the international quarterly "Perspectives--A Newsletter for Individuals with Alzheimer's or a Related Disorder."
