Hello all

As I posted briefly before the service was beautiful.

The lessons the music all spoke to my heart.

I almost broke down at the beginning of my remarks but pulled it together and was able to stay calm for the rest. I think my late father was helping me the workds just flowed. There were a lot of happy memories shared at the reception afterwards.

It went the way we wanted and I am glad.

I went back to work later that week. the nursing home part has been hard as I have several patients who are dying just now but it is getting a little easier to handle.

There are so many details and tasks here at home. In one sense there is no rush but I do feel them looming over me and will feel less stressed after I get them done.

I miss her very much but I do know that she is in a better place and that her suffering is over.

Thank you for your update.  I can definitely imagine how the nursing home part would be very hard.

Please be gentle with yourself.  I know that you know that there will be time for those tasks that are looming.
