As I read all the posts I wonder where you live and if anyone lives close to me. Perhaps this will bring others together by posting where you live.. Let's give it a try.

I live outside of Houston about 25 miles in area called Katy, Texas. Anyone close?

Not close to you at all. I live in West Virginia. The southern part in a tiny town called Cool Ridge. It's about 70 miles from Charleston, WV the capital.
We are high in the mountains.

I don't live in Texas but the Alzheimer's association may have a support group close to your location. That is a good way to meet people in person.

Not in the USA...

I am in the North facing South,
gazing to the East and to the West.
Drifting among the galaxies,
holding on to dear life,
with my butt on a grain of sand.

I live in Louisiana, just east of the Shreveport/Bossier City area.

When I had my surgery Houston was one of the VA Hospitals that had the expertise for the surgery I needed, I went to Dallas due to family living there.

I live just barely outside the beltway in Northern Virginia. It is the Alexandria area of Fairfax County.

I can be at old George's Mt. Vernon in about 15 minutes. The Pentagon takes about the same on Express Lanes, but just a bit northwest . I felt the impact shake my backyard on 9-11.

Come visit the National Mall with me.
