My DH Dan passed away 2 weeks ago he had spent the last year and a half in a MC facility his passing was very peaceful and I was with him till the end along with his caregivers in MC and his Hospice Caregiver.

Today is his birthday he would have been 89. Our daughter and I are going to take his ashes to a place that was a special place to the 3 of us. We used to go have picnics there so we will pack a lunch today and take my DH on a picnic. Please Lord, let this be a peaceful thing for us to do. Hugs to All, Zetta

 Hi Zetta,

What a lovely idea for the picnic in your special place.  I know Dan will enjoy it.  I hope it's a beautiful day for all of you.

Thanks for all you loving thoughts, I did not mention we will be leaving Dan there in his favorite spot so when we want to go back we will have a place to go visit him. I am praying for this to be easy and peaceful for both me and our daughter.

Dear Zetta

I am so sorry to hear of your Dans passing. My heart aches for you.

Take all the help you are offered.

Even when they are in MC you never feel as alone as you do after they are truly gone.  My sweetie died just before Xmas and I still Miss him so much. The tears are never far away.

Keeping occupied makes the days bearable.

My caring thoughts are with you.

Hugs April

It sounds like you have chosen a perfecting resting place. May you have many pleasant times to come together as a family in the future and share special memories.

Lady zetta I did not read this until tonight but I hope your day went well with sweet memories of your dear husband and that you felt the love and support of your loved ones and fellow travellers on this board.
