Please look at my Facebook page at my new toy. I wish I knew how to add pictures on this site but every time I ever try it always fails. So much for a dementia friendly site. Not sure if the administrator can add them for me as I would share others not on my site.

All of my friends are welcome to come if you are in my area. It will be kept in Bear Delaware.

My goodness Michael; that is indeed a big, beautiful, sleek one.

Did you decide to buy or lease?    Who is piloting her and how far will you be taking her?

I wonder what one does with such a craft in the winter what with all the snow and ice; must be special accommodations.

Have a great time with your beautiful new toy.

J.

We purchased it used. It is a 2006 but it looks like new because it was kept in a garage slip. My wife is being trained by a Capitan to run the boat.

What I can not believe is that I was able to drive it with out ant issues and the captain certified me to use it. I did not think I could do this any more as this is much harder to drive then any car.

This winter we will take it out in about another month and have it winterized and covered. A boat that size can stay in the water all year round and we may do that next season.  One day we may take the boat all the way to Florida if my wife stops working. Very costly as it burns 35 gallons per hour.

I have other pictures to share but I don’t want to add them on my site. Can I send them to you somehow and add them for me. Thanks

Forgot to ask what the name of your boat is.

As for the photos, I have no idea how to place photos, but if you go to the top of the page and write a message in, "Contact Us," the technical folks may be able to assist you.

While I know the name of it I cannot tell folks yet. As soon as the name on the stern I will let folks know. I think many will be surprised by it.

That is the Head or bathroom for those that do know know what that means. I am not even sure how that picture got there. I tried to get help from AA but they could not help me load the files. They said that my picture files are to large. There is away to make them smaller but I don’t know how. I also don’t understand math any more to be able to compare size. Don’t understand why this site can just allow bigger size pictures like every other site I deal with.

So if there is someone out there that can sharing my picture I would appreciate the help. Thanks

Finally, I got it done. Not the right way but it done. I also apologize for my email that said picture 365 was the head. That is the shower only and it has two heads.

I hope you have many years of fun on your new toy. The pictures are nice, and looks like you have an excellent boat. Im more of a land lover, and did the RV thing for several years, and we’re  considering buying an RV to hit the roads again.

I love the boats name. Good choice.

Enjoys the seas, and be safe.

As most who know me they know I work with all of the dementia organizations around the world. Most do some great things and I support most of them. Some of them have stood out from the rest. I have never liked to say that one organization is better than another but there is one that has always been at the top of my list for many years. They have stood out from the rest for many reasons. Mostly for thinking outside the box and for outstanding work around the world for dementia. The founders have always used their own money to support this cause on so many levels. For this reason, I have chosen to use the name of that organization as my boat name. It is my hope this will bring more awareness to a new type of clientele. I hope that all will be supportive to this outstanding organization.

She's a beautful lady, Michael.    Even at times she is not at sea, it would be lovely just to go to the marina and be on her for a day or two.

Will you rent her out from time to time or keep her private only?   Bet you and your wife are as happy as can be.

J.

I will not be renting the yacht. I will however allow 5 Charites to use it to make money for their organization. AA is one of them. We are very happy and I just can not seem to except that this is now mine. This is like a dream.

This brings back thoughts of one special night I spent on a yacht.    The medical center I worked for had a Christmas gift for their Admin. staff.

We were invited, (no spouses secondary to space issues), aboard a gorgeous yacht that went up and down the canals in SoCal as the boats and waterside houses are decorated with lights to the nth. degree for the holidays.

We were served champagne and hor d'ouvres and music was playing as we sailed along the canal.  I remember standing in the bow letting the wind blow through my hair, looking at the beautiful lights as we sailed along; the Director of Pharmacy was of Greek heritage and he was up top singing Christmas carols at the top of his lungs in Greek with his arms outstretched  Still makes me smile to think of it.  Had such a great time.  Champagne kept me warm.  At one point, we did have to keep the Vice President of Nursing from climbing over the side . .  . no more champagne for her!

Beautiful night.

Nice to have such an experience.

Jo C. - that does sound beautiful. I am sure it was much larger than mine.

Jfkoc - No matter what I do I always have that in the back of my mind. That is what keeps me going.
