Yesterday morning, my wife had a scheduled test to see if her blood was in range, since she takes coumadin. I told her she would have to get ready to go, but she said she was not going because she didn't feel well. She has bronchitis, and feels rotten. But she needed to go. She was refusing, so I said "OK, let's get ready for your bath". OMG, the dreaded bath!! She decided to go instead of getting the bath.

Fast forward to this morning. I told her I had to wash clothes today. She said "OK. I have to take a bath and wash my hair!! WHAT?? I wasted no time getting the bathroom warmed up, and having everything ready and warm for her when she was done. Mission accomplished, at least for today.

I've just accepted the fact that I always need to be ready for the next 180 degree turn. As my stepdaughter jokingly replied, "C'mon, keep up!"

The dreaded shower/bath. Why oh why is it like pulling teeth? Glad you were able to bathe your wife without upset, that certainly goes in the W column!
