What does everyone think about Noscapine treatment for Alzheimer's?

Has anyone heard about the new research conducted in Switzerland using Noscapine as a potential treatment for Alzheimer's? It looks promising, would love to hear all of your thoughts on the subject.  If you haven't heard about it yet, you can take a look at this article for the info.

Poorly written article with no citations regarding any scientific reports regarding  well run valid studies, so my thoughts are not on the positive side of the ledger.

Are you a person with dementia or do you have a Loved One with dementia?

It looks legitimate (there's a link to the study) but this is still a study that uses mice for its subjects. I understand that using mice is a first step, but there are so many studies out there that I tend to only read the ones that have advanced to using human subjects.
