INFORMATION YOU CAN TRUST AND A SAFE PLACE TO CONNECT

In these extraordinary times it is great to see that often the worst challenges bring out the best in people. Let’s continue to share our stories and offer meaningful messages of hope. At the Alzheimer’s Association, we are committed to bring you accurate and useful information.  In the coming days you will see more content and links to trusted resources as we all navigate the Covid-19 pandemic together. Remember that information and support are only a call or click away 24/7/365 through our Helpline at 800-272-3900 and this community.

CAREGIVING DURING COVID-19

Here are our COVID-19 Tips for Caregivers. You’ll find helpful information whether you are caring at home, caring for someone who is living in a residential care community or trying to stay healthy yourself in the midst of all the caregiving.

There’s more great information on the AARP Coronavirus page, updated with fresh content daily. In addition, AARP is offering live Live Tele-Town Halls every Thursday. Join them live to get your questions answered and check out recordings for any that you miss. AARP also offers a very handy one-page guide for Preparing Caregivers for Covid-19.

ACCURATE AND RELIABLE INFORMATION ABOUT COVID-19

We appreciate our partnership with you to ensure that the ALZConnected Online Community continues to be a safe place where people can come for support and understanding related to Alzheimer’s, dementia and caregiving. Since the Covid-19 statistics change hour by hour, we prefer to direct you to trusted sources of updated information rather than have the numbers published here--where they are almost immediately obsolete. The Center for Disease Control website contains updates on what you need to know, how to protect yourself and your family, and all the latest numbers.
