Early onset Alzheimer’s. I’m not 60 yet. Worse and worse short term memory issues effecting my marriage and work.  Scared it’s getting worse so quickly that I need to find some quiet safe place to hunker down and not effect anyone. This isn’t going to get better or end well

Welcome, Kurt.  Yes, that is a scary diagnosis!  Have all the dementia mimics been searched for and ruled out?  Are you on Aricept or Exelon patch?  One of those might be of some help.  You might think about early retirement or getting long term disability.

This is a devastating disease to deal with.  But there is much you can do.  The main thing is to become proactive and make plans.  Please write back and ask more questions. There are not a lot of us but we are here to help.
